I thought that this was a great article. However, the statement that computers are like people in that they know nothing from a (t=0) frame is misleading. Sure, a machine learning model knows nothing upon it’s initial “iteration” if you will but I don’t think that you could argue this for humans. When a child is born they are preprogrammed to seek out basic needs: food, water, love. I’m not a biologist so I can’t speak on behalf of how this is programmed into infants but the point is a parent doesn’t have to tell their child after they exit the womb that they need to drink their mothers milk. They are biologically wired to seek out that basic elements and one could argue that humans are born with a basic intelligence set. Just my 0.02. Great article otherwise!
